| one by one the years submit
and i turn my head,
too ashamed to watch.
carefully i fold them,
days and months and weeks,
bending corner to corner
in straight and permanent lines
creased and smooth.
i divide life among colored bottles,
arranging them across this dusty
window ledge in tightly forced rows.
i write words across these pages
that are tucked away, dismissed.
even when i see you now,
or think it may be your familiar silhouette
in passing traffic, my fingers
remember how to fold.

it's been awhile, but here goes......
school starts monday, so that'll be interesting.... :)
summer's been great. i've made new friends, and expierenced new things.
i feel like a better person, but i'm still insane- you'll be happy to know.
on a lighter note, it's story time!
i was at the mall one time, and i saw a really hot guy.
i followed him with my eyes for a breif moment, and they contacted his.
he walked a few moments like this, only to hit a column in front of
him. in embarassment, he scurried after his several bags. he was
sprawled out on the floor with a horrified look on his face.
i soon noticed his prosthetic leg laying helplessly about 20 feet away.
i hope you've enjoyed this glimpse into the constant humorous adventure i call my daily life.

the coustume fit for today's performance... of course i ate nothing but carrot sticks for a week! i'm serious.
last week i hadto be thrown down and zipped in by 6 people, and today it jus slipped righ on. yay!
today i got to meet the AwEsOmE folks of "the voices of lee" i am SO
going there. lee's been my dream school since i was like, what... 6?
yep. since i was little i've run around in lee stuff, in denial that i
am not ACTUALLY one of these people. of course, i can pretend.
so yeah.... i got a lotta
DANNY-BUTT KISSING to do if i want to be in the voices :)
well, i gotta go. i have something purple and sticky in my hair, and i am SEVERELY baffled on what it is and how to remove it.

the drama lock-in's tonite, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tonite we gotta run thru "vashti's" with the costumes- and that should be interesting.
mine is a hot pink, knee length, strapless, SAUSAGE casing-like dress
that i can barely walk in. THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT should be neat........

to get it on, i have to squish in a-coupple-a things, have ariel pull
the back together, and have charity zip it. all in a 12 second-scene
change?
